CREATIVITY

Painting has always been a creative outlet for me. Ever since I could remember and even when I was not good at it painting has been a big part of me and an important part of my childhood. My mother being also an artist, she didn’t teach me how to paint but she let me figure out my own way to pour my creativity out on a blank canvas. For this project I decided to paint something that symbolises creativity. The meaning of Creativity itself varies from one person to another but to me it means “expressing yourself through colours”.Creativity comes from the darkest parts of ones mind, it shows a part of yourself that you refuse to expose to society in a conventional way.
RESEARCH BEHIND THE ART.
The right side of the human brain is the part that controls creativity and that is the main reason I chose to paint it exposed. Also art has been proven to help those who struggle with mental issues such as anxiety and depression. Art in different formes helps to refuse the amount of stress one struggles with in a healthy way.

WELCOME TO UNRAVEL
Painting human anatomy has been one of my most favourite things to do lately. But a touch of colour to represent the chaos going on inside this persons mind is the perfect way to express that creativity could be expressed by any form of art not just painting. In this piece the right part of the subject brain is exposed to symbolise that they are creative.
THE FINAL PROJECT
After about 28 hours of continuous work, and hesitation between painting skin a normal colour or making it multicoloured, the final piece is done.
